Pumpkins, Parties and so much more

 Willow had "hat" day instead of "Dress up" and she wore the "parrot" hat.

I love going to the parties at school (as a parent). For many years, I was the teacher and so this is such a breath of fresh air.  Love that I could chill with my Willow bean.

This is little Ben in Willow's class, I was friends with his mommy before they ended up in the same class.  The two love to play together.

Then after Willow's party, we were off to Scarlett's fall party!

After all the parties, we went to visit Daddy at work....although this isn't Daddy's desk...mmmm, do you know whose this is?

 We went over the the "Ryan's" house for a little fall fun early in the month and she had it decorated so cute!

 The girls loved painting pumpkins at the party too!

Jen had all sorts of activities for the kids, our girls are into crafts so this was perfect!!

This year we decided to be the "Bee Family with the Bee keeper"  Daddy is such a good sport!  We had so much fun and the girls just loved it.  I know I only have so much more time and the "matching stuff" will be out the door.  I will enjoy it while they like to do it! 

I love to bake (not that I can actually do it)!  I love to get on pinterest and get ideas.  Although you could get sick looking on pinterest too.  The ideas are crazy and you feel like its impossible to do all the things on there.  I just made simple cupcakes and then colored the icing and put a candy corn on top!  They were so cute and I really didn't want to eat them.

I have got to post this on pinterest too!  I used colored chocolate from Michaels.  I put the orange on first and then waited a few hours and put the yellow on them.  I was nervous the marshmallows would go bad, but they didn't.  I had to get rid of them all within days though because I was too nervous they would get super hard and yucky!

Trick or Treat

Halloween fell on a week day night, so we enjoyed the neighborhood trick or treating.  The girls checking out the "goods."

They were digging for mommy's favorite candies....love their thoughtfulness.

We stopped over at a friends house for a little on that evening!

Fall Time for Willow

Willow had a field trip to a little pumpkin patch for school.  She adores her teachers and has so much fun with her little playmates.

They even went on a little hayride.

One of the mom's doubled up with Willow and her own child.  I had Lane and it was REALLY cold that day so I didn't stay for the little field trip.

Earlier that morning and the night before Uncle Curtie came to stay for a little visit!

Every Wednesday night we go to church and the girls attend Awana!  It is where they have small bible story time and learn bible verses.  Willow is in little Cubbies and this is her teacher, Ms. Debbie.  Willow is doing so well adjusting to her different classrooms.

Visiting the Pumpkin Patch

We were off to visit the pumpkin patch with some friends.  We weren't sure if we would actually get the girls in a picture so I was lucky to grab this!

Scarlett goes to a wonderful school and this is her principal.  Her principal is so friendly, kind and loving to the kids.  We are so in love with her school.  Her principal was taking tickets to the school event at Neiderman Farms that evening.

The farm has may activities, and the "cow ride" was a hit too!!

Sweet little Willow

The farm has this covered area that the kids can bounce on.

They really have this place built up for entertainment during the fall.  It was completely dark out and this area was "lit up."

We never get any pictures together so I was so thankful that I got a quick shot = love this great daddy!

Little Town

Our family went to visit a small town near Cincinnati for the day.  Wyoming was recommend to us by a dear family, The Imhoffs.  Whitney is from the area but I met her in Wayne County.  Her family has the Wyoming Pastry Shop and so we made sure to stop in there too!

They were having a little carnival and we loved trying all the different foods!

The fall flowers were in full bloom too!

The bakery established in 1934, is where you can enjoy a cup of their signature house blend coffee, Caribou coffee, or a wide selection of Harney and Sons teas in a relaxed quiet setting with a sweet pastry or take home a loaf of their many breads.

One of the things the girls enjoyed the most was being able to climb up and in the fire trucks!

Also, we stopped in the "art" academy too!  Of course the "flying pig" was out front.  You will have to check out the flying pig marathon that they do each spring.  It is a well known marathon all over the country!

Of course, the best part might have been the train ride.

We were there late in the day and that was probably the best timing.  People were probably there all morning and had cleared out by the time we rolled into town.

What a great day in the town of Wyoming.  The quaint and quiet community reminds me so much of Ohio!  The houses are nestled into the neighborhood with fences, dogs and play sets.  I would highly recommend visiting this town, stopping in at the local bakery and enjoying the scenery!!
