Excerpt from daddy and mommy

This is a short post of what was going on Christmas Eve and Christmas in the Butler household.
Dearest Scarlett and Willow, Thoughts were racing on Christmas Eve this year because of what was about to happen the next day.  Mommy was leaving for Cambodia.  This was something that had been laid on my heart for along time but never pursued it until this past year.  We want you to know how much your mommy and daddy love you.  We want you to know how much we care for you and that is why we attempt to spend every waking moment with you whether we are traveling, going up north or staying at home.  We know these precious baby years will come and go so we don't want to take advantage of them.  However, I am so grateful and blessed for the time that I get to spend with you, my precious children almost every single day.  We prayed that the Lord would know our heart and know our fears, and that He did.  He provided the family and friends to take care of you girls with love and laughter while Mommy was gone.  Daddy was there most of the time with you up north, but had to leave for travel for about 3 days.   You girls did great, just like we thought.  Going to Cambodia did a lot of things for our family, but one of the greatest things that it did was made me just love my family even more.  As if that was possible.

Mommy is going to write about her trip at this link.
