On our way

For the first time in a long time. We were off and away for about 3 days and 2 nights. It was like a little honeymoon.

We had the best drive out to the wedding.

We drove through the capital of Florida. We thought this was important since we have never been there and not sure how much longer we will be in Florida.

Tallahassee

Ryan checkin a store in the middle of NO WHERE. He had to ask if they get their supplies from Alambama and they did, so it was one of his stores.

Me under the big top. The unforgotten coast was just so cool with all of these little hole in the wall places, it was really neat. We felt very much like a tourist.

Of course, we even stopped at the Piggly Wiggly.

And then they came

Kind of like the song,
In came the animals two by two
Well, it was people
My sisters and
Scarlett and Willow's cousins

But let me just say
JOY send me pictures as I only have about 5.
I forgot to give Scarlett my camera.

Around Christmas, we decided to go to a girlfriends wedding, which was about 6 hours away, and we asked for sitters.
Joy decided she would just have to do it. You know, come down to Florida and lay out at the beach and pool, but have to watch a few kids too. So Amy decided to tag along and bring two of her kids.

So,

Eli came

and Cooper

and they all just loved our house.

Willow even loved getting spoiled by Aunt Amy.

We are so blessed that we can rely on our family when we need them the most. Aunt Joy, please send us pictures so we can post on our blog. Until then, you can check out Joy's blog as I am sure she will post a few.

Thank you so much, as we had a wonderful weekend get away and to Cooper and Kora who got sick from what Willow, Scarlett and Ryan had.

Can't wait to see the Ingold Family in Florida in July. Can I get a whooo-whooo!!

Bingo

Have you ever drove down the road and saw the store Learning Resources and just about crash your car trying to get to it? I did and I said "bingo."

I found a Learning Resources store driving home from the airport and spent well, too much money there. But I can't believe how lucky I was to find the store. I picked this sorting game up for Scarlett. So excited, as it as many different ways to use it.

Have you ever went to a consignment store and found the "busy bible" and thought "bingo?" It was my lucky day. I found it and I love it.

As you can imagine it keeps Scarlett busy. I hope you checked out the link, they are really expensive and I got it for 12.99....SO EXCITED!!

Have you ever figured out that two outfits match without even knowing it? Bingo!! My mother in law bought both of these outfits at least 6 months apart and Bingo, I put them on the girls and they match!!

Have you ever told your daughter to turn a certain way so that you could take a picture of the cute hair bow? Bingo, it worked

I hope you have a Bingo today!!

Grand Weekend

Grand Weekend at the Grand Floridian.

While Vicki was in town, I slipped away for about 24 hours to spend some time with Ryan in Orlando.

He was there for business and let me tell you, I felt like business. It's nice to roll in his world for less then 24 hours. It makes me feel important or something.

The place

The fireworks

The castle from our room.... ok, you might have to click on the picture to actually see the castle.

However, I left on Saturday night to spend the night with Ryan. Then, in the morning I was chillin poolside. I was perched on my chair WITHOUT KIDS, my ipod, my studies and my cell phone.

I called Vicki to see how the kids were and they were great.
BUT not Vicki.
She was SICK, so sick.
She was th ...well, we won't get into details.
BUT, I took my perched little body,
packed up and went home to spend the time with the kids
and help Grandma get better.

She did and all went well, we passed the sickness to her
BUT
I WARNED HER BEFORE she came
that our whole house had been sick.

Overall, it was a nice little get away and we loved having her in town.

Happy Birthday Jack

We are invited to a few birthday parties as you can see by reading my blog. We love celebrating with our friends.

It was Jack's first birthday party and here is his cake.

Jack playin in the water.

Scarlett loved the water at the party.

The only reason I posted this picture because the ball over the pool cracks me up.

I know its the simple things in life, like a good picture of a ball to make my blog.

Here we go round

Vicki (my mother in law) and Scarlett went on the carousal.

Is this not the cutest picture of Vicki?

They had so much fun going around and around.

So glad that wasn't me.

They finally stopped and when they did, we went into a little store where Scarlett found Mr. Potato Head loved decorating him.

More mother in law

Grandma and the girls trying to pose for a picture!!

And the girls yet again with Grandma before she is off and away back to Ohio.

Grandma bought Scarlett this really cool roller thing for play-doh and the cookie cutters too. She was having so much fun serving up crab play-doh cakes.

On the way from the airport, I found the most awesome store. A learning resources store....BINGO!!

I bought these stack cups for Willow, but they can be used so many different ways. Hopefully, I will document the different ways that I am using them with the girls.

Mother-In-Law in Town

So, yes I embarrassed my mother in law with the servers at The Rainforest singing Happy Birthday to her.

We picked her up at the airport and we went to Downtown Disney. It is always so much fun and the girls love it too.

Picture of Willow's first bite of ice-cream.

The girls having a good time!!

Vicki said that she would ride the train with Scarlett. But Scarlett said, "I am a big girl, I can do it all by myself."

Happy Birthday

I am a few days behind on my blog, and a few days late on a birthday.
My mother in law flew into town about a day or two after her birthday. I am so blessed to have married a man with such wonderful parents. I love his family so much and we are very spoiled to be surrounded by such a loving family.

Ryan was traveling a lot in April and so Vicki (mil) flew down for the weekend to help and for us to get a night away.

We went to the local airport to eat with some friends and the girls just love Grandma I-I. Happy Birthday and thank you for spoiling your grandkids.

She is always so thoughtful and bought a "red" bear for "scarlett" on her first Christmas. Her thoughtful gifts are always themed and its just too cute.

This is a random picture I found from our moving party. We were moving from Ohio to Florida and while I was taking this picture, Scarlett's hat fell off. Well, ya'll know how I am with accessories, I think I rubbed off on my mother in law, as I caught her in the act of fixing it.

When my mother in law flew into Orlando, we stopped at the Rainforest Cafe. I had the servers surprise her with singing Happy Birthday (for those that know Vicki, YES SHE WAS VERY EMBARRASSED, but i told her it was for the sake of Scarlett watching them sing and all of sudden it was FINE...grandkids, they get away with everything)

Happy Birthday to my kind and sweet Mother in law that loves us so much, we miss that we can't just drive over to see your dog or play with the Barbie car. But sending sweet birthday kisses your way from the girls, oh, and Ryan too.

I am sure if Ryan was blogging and someday I might have to show him my level of technology he would be wishing his mother Happy Birthday as well.
