Wedding Bells

We went back up near Wayne County for a quick weekend trip.  It was for a wedding of a dear cousin.  My handsome hubby and I following the wedding ceremony!
Remind my siblings and I to NOT attempt to get a family picture.....this is what happens

Congrats Austin and Jaclyn on your big day!  We were honored to be there!  God bless your marriage!

the day after the 4th

This is Scarlett with the twins. (Becca and Leah) at the Cupcake Shoppe in downtown Wooster.  It was Joy's birthday so we decided to go out for morning cupcakes.....however.....
Aunt Joy sorta flipped the party and had a few of my friends show up to surprise me.  Willow was all over Ms. Suzanne at the cupcake shoppe.  I was totally caught off guard as some of my closest friends started to roll in.  I guess Joy claimed she never threw me a 30th so she decided to do it 2 years late and ON her birthday.  Needless to say, I was a little upset with her.
Later on in the evening, we actually went back downtown to eat at Broken Rocks on the square.  If you click on the link you will see how cute the place is inside for some yummy food!  Grandma I-I came after work with Aunt Ashley.  This was outside on the square and I just love this picture and the picture below of Willow....she is such a ham!!

Daddy dancing with Scarlett to the Army music.
After we ate, we went to our little town square to watch a little of the Army Band.  If you check out this link, we actually made the front page on the paper the next morning. (yes, we are the little colorful spots way in the back).

Garage Sale and Chickens

My sisters host a HUGE garage, well its actually at Amy's house and Joy does all the dirty work.  However, they have more then 17 families involved in it.  It takes place each year in April.  Wanna know why I went  Reason 1: because i had at least 20$ in things to sell...ha, Ryan loved this as it totally covered the gas,  Reason 2: because its only about a 3 hour drive and I can,  Reason 3: I haven't been to one for years and just wanted to be able to say since I live in Ohio I can go
However, while we hang out and sell all the junk in the garage and watch all the crazy's go crazy, the kids play in the barn.
Willow just loved the barn and the eggs.
I told her to stand by the eggs and she decided to pose.  She was helping Adam collect eggs and kept throwing them into the crate breaking them.
The funniest part of the few days that we were there was probably watching them in the chicken field.
First of all, I am with ya Willow, I wouldn't touch them either.
My girls were trying so hard to love those chickens, I think possibly because their cousins love them, so they in turn feel obligated to like them.
I seriously thought I would go into labor from laughing so hard at Scarlett trying to catch a chicken.
Who is she kidding, she is totally not going to pick up the chicken.
It was a fun few days, we drove back and forth rather quickly.  Although it was cold, it was fun and nice to say that we were able to stop in this year for the craziness of garage sales.

From there to here

Where do we begin....
We always enjoy watching the movers put the car into the semi.

We bunked up at the local Fairfield for the week and friends stopped in to say goodbye.  A sweet friend, Jess stopped by to say goodbye.  So thankful for the wonderful people God has put into our lives.

Of course, it wouldn't be a real Butler week without a trip to the Doctor.
I love that when I uploaded my pics, I found that Scarlett had grabbed the camera.  YEP, this was much needed coffee at two in the afternoon.
Quick stop at the bookstore to say goodbye to our beloved Ms. Gracie
Kids swimmin and hangin at the pool
Pizza parties
Hair stylin
Boys chillin
Kids screamin
and then reality hit, we were on the road
we made a quick pit stop (that later we learned we would regret) The Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC was beautiful.
we stopped at this beautiful resort that my hubby can't wait to take me to, so we took a sneak peek.  He stayed their during a business meeting and it wasn't too far off the beaten path, so we enjoyed the view and let the kids have a break from traveling.
we stopped for some pizza
and well, i will let your mind wonder what we did with this bag....this is for another post!

Pit Stop

Ryan and I adventured up to Cincinnati to find a rental until we decide to buy.  On our way through town we stopped at a local Subway, Dunkin Donuts and I realized I was officially up north.  You see, down south, this Dunkin Donuts wouldn't even be big enough.  In our small southern town of Palm Coast, Dunkin Donuts is happening, its lined up...ALL day.  I remembered when I saw DD in Palm Coast and thought, oh, it will never survive.  I was wrong.  The southerners (or people that moved from New Jersey) love them some DD.  But after all, Friends don't let Friends drink Starbucks.
ha....one of the the houses that we looked at....needless to say, this is the only picture from that house I wish to share.  They might have spent $20,000 on the bathroom but the whole house was worth about $21,000.
We stopped by this fabulous little Thai place to eat in Mason.  I hope to find the name and go back.  I would link it up so you can check out the amazing menu.  Until then, you can check out the wonderful plates that we inhaled.  This was one of the best dinners for sure.
of course, Ryan loves him a good picture in the middle of a meal.  Yes, he rolled his eyes but what a great picture, eh?
Ryan's dinner....he ate a little bit of mine and loved it.
Scarlett's new school.  I really can't believe that my little girl is getting so big and will be in Kindergarten.  We had a hard time finding a house, let alone finding a school to go with it.  We almost signed another house until we learned that the school would be at least a 25 minute drive.  This one is about 2 miles from our house and I will be able to drop her off and pick her up everyday.  She will only go to school from 9ish until noonish....which I am stoked about.  We will be able to pick her up and play all afternoon. (although with three in August, a little adjustment may be needed)
As we flew back into Florida from our little trip to our new town, I will admit, I was a bit sad.  I saw this beautiful shot as I was reading my study under the tree.  It read something of this sort from Rev. 21:23.  ---City has no need of sun or moon, the glory of God illuminates the city and the Lamb is its light. ---- This is amazing to me and reminds me that this is just our temporary home on earth, no need to get all in a tizzy about moving from one state to another.  On another funny note, about a week later, Scarlett was asking if we sleep in heaven, she can't imagine sleeping with the lights on...ha.
