Phone overload

Before Christmas we went with the Hampton's to their church for a multiple nativity scene show.

This was one of the hundreds of little nativities that were on display.  It was soo very cool to see all the nativities from different countries too.

These girls have just become great friends.  However, they will be moving to the Nashville area soon and we are going to miss them.

Speaking of moving.  This was Jen and Corin on their moving day too!  It seems that we meet people and then they move, what is going on with that?

Pappaw with the Willow bean.

Scarlett has been getting some ultrasounds so that we can get some answers to her UTI issues.

Love our little girly girl heading to basketball!!!

Willow got this backpack in the mail from the Ronk family and it made her day!  She colored and colored and then colored some more!

I started to document how many times we went to the dr for Scarlett's UTI problems...poor girl!

After Scarlett's birthday, she was all about the clown, and began to dress up as one to play!

On Scarlett's birthday we went out to Max and Erma's, I don't get in a lot of pictures so I was glad that the hubby snapped this!

Scarlett loving her card from Grandma Bonnie/papa....  Hope you enjoyed this random post!  It's hard because lately I have been taking pictures with my phone which is making it even harder to blog.

Ashland U and so much more

When I graduated with my masters from Ashland University I became obviously ALUMNI. So, they were having a little alumni banquet about 2 hours away... so off we went. Now, I don't want you to think that my hubby didn't want to go (ha) but he was out of town for the week so that is why he isn't in many of the pictures.

It was nice to talk to retired alumni...

conversation went like this...

Ashland alumnist: when did you graduate?
Jill: oh, like last year.
aa: thats nice, what do you do
jill: well, yah, know, i, um, stay home and raise my kids
aa: oh, thats nice, i bet you use your degree
jill: yep, everyday, good thing i got it in education and leadership...because i use both all the time

jill: so when did you graduate?
aa: well, so glad that you asked, you see i graduated in 72, you know when things were really good, i then went on to work for this and that...then, i got married and had kids, you know when the economy and things were really good... and moved here to work for so and so, you know because back in the day things were really good in our country... then i came back to the university to work and become a professor, then we moved to florida to retire, but can you believe this housing market... but we still just love meeting all these other graduates...

jill: nice, glad to know when you graduated...

forgot to insert above, that I probably had to have this guy finish his conversation like 5 times as I attempted to get Scarlett out from under the table because she wanted to play hide -n-seek and trying to feed Willow all covered up in front of this retireee was a JOKE.

Anyways, the picture below is the group that attended and it took place at the Amelia Island Plantation. It was beautiful and I could handle living there as well.

Scarlett and Willow

Scarlett loves to cook and bake, so she got her OWN apron to wear.

One day Scarlett said she wanted to go skating, so she dumped out the cards and went to town...i couldn't figure out where she learned this... i have never done this??

Just hangin around

Leslie had her baby Morgan a day before Willow was born. She stopped over at the OSU michigan game and for some reason i didn't take a lot of pictures.

Scarlett loved playing with all the kids that stopped out for the game.

Daddy and his sleepovers. Daddy loves building up a pile of blankets and pillows and having family fun night. Not sure if its because
- he can fall asleep
- he wants to teach Scarlett the importance of laying around
- he wants to show scarlett how to make the best way to pile blankets
- he wants them to fall asleep so he can fall asleep...wait, i already mentioned that

oh, well, daddy and his girls vegging out in ohio watching some kids stuff on tv

Our little princess all dressed up... Scarlett loves to dress up. She got some dress up clothes for her birthday so she was prancing around the house in it.

Our little Willow Grayce loves her bouncy seat. She was just a talking away!

Jill Stirling-Ronk won teacher of the year from her school! So we took her out to wine and dine at a fancy little italian place in town and gave her some roses. She thought we were going out because i was leaving the next day for Ohio. We got her pretty good!

Me, Jill, Anna and Lindsay trying to have some man take our picture...ahh, little blurry, but maybe a new camera is on its way~

Random Shots

The Very Hungary Caterpillar Day was in early October. So we invited over a few friends in honor of Eric Carle. Instead of Scarlett's learning time that morning, we had a bigger learning time and she loved it. We did books and paintings. I barely had time to get any pictures though!

My girlfriends Michelle and Jessica whom I used to work with at TLC preschool came over for some pizza/salad. They brought their kids and EXTRA clothes.... just so happened Michelle had an extra bunny outfit for Scarlett. However, we had already had our halloween outfits and this bunny outfit would have been WAY TO hot down here.

Willow is always getting so much love and attention!!

Maren just loves little Willow!!
