Ohio Weekend

Ryan and I had so much fun for about a 2 day getaway for our anniversary.  We flew into Columbus, Ohio.  We went to the buckeye game and enjoyed a few dinners without kids. My parents drove to pick up the kids and keep them for a few days.

We ate breakfast at Provine's tail gate before we went to the game.  Craig recently lost his girlfriend a few months ago whom he dated for  about 7 years to an asthma (spelling?) attack.  He use to set up tailgate with her for years.  This is his first game back without her.  He was such a strong person although I think he was dealing with a lot that day.

I just love the sun, the fall and the weather in Ohio.  The guys at the top of the hill enjoying the morning.

I wanted to get a picture of this beautiful tree to show my friends in Florida.  It was a beautiful day and an awesome weekend.  Thanks grandparents for helping out with the kids.  If you have some pictures for me to post, send them my way.

Weekend Trip

For many reasons, we adventured to Ohio for a quick fall weekend.  Scarlett felt the need to review flash cards with sissy on the way to the airport.

Scarlett is such a big girl on the plane.  We sat in the very first row and I am pretty sure the rest of the plane was highly entertained by our two girls and the "big fat" bows that I plop on them.

whew, finally, we arrived....Hello, Ohio State.

But, the kids weren't with us too long before grandparents came to whisk them away for the weekend.  Yep, mommy and daddy's anniversary trip had officially began.  (6 years and counting)

Go Bucks

Nana loved spoiling on the girls.

We went to visit Ryan's brother, Alex.

We went to the student union and had to get a quick picture with Brutus.

Ryan's dad LOVED getting in on this picture.  I think he thought we were joking when we told him to sit down and get in the picture....ha...fun times.

Ride Home

On the way home from the airport, we stopped at Chick-f-ila.  It was a first for me and it was awesome.   The kids needed a break from riding in the car, then the plane and then the car again.

It was a great way to cap off our weekend.

The park

Scarlett loves the park.  She is almost 4 and she says she has been a big girl since she turned 2.  mmmm....ok

Walking out of the park, we hit up the inter coastal and the kids loved it.  But, notice she is the ONLY girl, all the other girls left but still, after looking at this picture, I am getting nervous.

Willow loved the water, fresh air and sand too!

Scarlett needed to be saved as she adventured out to the rocks.  Thanks Anna!!

Fun and Friends

Before Halloween, we went to the park with some friends.  Tara, Trista and Adilyn were there too!

Rachael organized it all and we had so much fun.

Willow fell asleep on the way there and it was nice to run around with Scarlett and chat with other moms.

Scarlett LOVED painting her pumpkin.

daddy's little girls

Don't look at the disaster in our house.  LOOK at Scarlett's shirt! Scarlett was two in this picture.

It's the cutest little shirt ever and now Willow is wearing it.  It says "daddy's little girl."  Willow is one in this picture.

Such a big girl

Little Willow bean is becoming such a big girl.  She loves the strollers and purses.

Usually while big sissy is learning, little beany is doing something that is learning based too.  She loves this puzzle and is doing great with it.  She plays with it almost every time I get her ready to eat.

daddy, are you suppose to work

when all of your girls are home?

poor daddy.... (between me and you) I think that he probably gets nothing done when he works from home (which isn't often) but I think he is tempted to join in on the fun!!

that willow thinks i am taking a pic of her every time. How can you say no to this face?

I mean really, she is a crazy girl.

Women of Faith

Rochelle and I went away for about 24 hours.  We went to Tampa.

We stayed in a great hotel and drove to the arena for each session.  (had to take a picture of Willow ave on our gps)

The sessions were great, the speakers were wonderful and the music was awesome.  I think I loved Stephen Curtis Chapman and his wife's session the best.  It was nice to see a husband and a wife team speak.  It made me miss my family a little.  But very grateful for all that God has blessed us with.  Thank you to my sweetie for sending me off for sweetest day.  It was a sweet blessed weekend.
