We have received word that Dave Steiner passed. He had a massive heart attack on Sunday night. After hearing from email and voicemail, I talked with Amy (my sister). His wife, Carole tried CPR until the squad got to the house. (I taught with Carole when I worked at Burbank Elementary, she was also Ryan's kindergarten teacher... she has since retired in the last year).
When Ryan and I were talking about it, we were talking about how he was such a wonderful Christian man. He really was an example and light to others.
We pray for his wife and family. We knew all of the boys but probably Bret and Ryan(married to Julie, my cousin) the most.
