labor Day Undate

So while nana and pappaw were here, i was able to slip out and do some retail therapy. While i was shopping, i happened to see this Dora backpack through the window and HAD to buy it. Scarlett just loves it!!

 

Everyone went golfing while mommy and Willow Grayce stayed home to just hang out... Scarlett is just loving her new little golf game!!

Middle of the week

My hubby and Scarlett went off golfing with his parents this weekend. On the way home, Scarlett had to check out the alligators. My husband is awesome and he loves spending time with his girls.

 

Random thoughts:
- Little Willow was fussy yesterday, ok, let me rephrase that ... CRYED ALL DAY but awesome today...wonder what i ate
- I have had a headache lingering for about 2 days...missed my bible study this morning... we slept until 9:30
-- mmmmm wonder if fussy + baby = headache
- Scarlett finally figured it out... she is officially breastfeeding her babies... and she sometimes even covers up...
- can't believe i am loving the breastfeeding with little willow
- Scarlett did awesome today with our learning time, we are finally back on track after baby...its called "ABC time" and Scarlett says..."willow has to watch, this is Scarlett's time" ...next week is all about red and apples..can't wait to show you pictures
- Ryan has had some long stressful days at work after the relaxing weekend... i can tell because he can't get to sleep at night
- Scarlett went to the St. Augustine (pedro mend) high school for cheerleading camp yesterday and LOVED it with a captial L. Some of the other moms were having a breakdown as their children didn't want to participate..i kind of felt bad...maybe they don't want to cheer
- We go back to the "baby dr" on thursday morning to see if Willow is gaining weight and to check everything out... we meet with our new dr. next tuesday here in Palm Coast... i am sad as we love Dr. Sahai
- gotta go as i hear Scarlett and daddy yelling, laughing and having a great time in the pool at 7:00 p.m...i want to get another load in the washer, go on a quick little walk around the neighborhood and feed willow before they come in

Speaking of Pink Princess… for all of you ladies out there… get ready to run. On March 7th, 2010 at 6:00 a.m. I will be running a half marathon in Disney. I am inviting any of you to join me. I have already registered for the event which is around 120.00$. If you have registered, please let us know, as we want our team to be big, bright and awesome!! We plan to stay on the resort on Saturday night for the race on Sunday. We already have girls signed up on our team. So, I posted on craigslist.com this TV... it is too big, and way tooo heavy and when Ryan upgraded we put it in the garage.... well, Ryan has been just beside himself when i listed it for 30.00 ... so many people called, i kept the first three people and then they never showed up SOOO... Ryan decided that he really needed it by the pool, after my mom and his dad didn;t think that was a bad idea, he moved it out to the pool deck. I was thinking the only room that didn't have a tv is the bathroom, so we are going to get on that right away!!

Needless to say the TV was moved out to the pool deck this weekend and it didn't look to bad.

Labor Day Weekend

Joe and Shari rolled into town on Friday evening to spend a few days with us. It was really nice to see them and have their help. Willow was about a week and a half, so by then sleep was deprived and Scarlett was in need of much attention. It was perfect.

Yes, if we want Scarlett to do something.. all we have to do is hold "carinas" name over her head. "If you don't start listening, you won't see Carina today" ... its works wonders... I know its not great parenting but the days that we are going to see carina it sure comes in handy.

- Joe and Shari are in town for a long weekend!! Yipee
- They went to highjackers last night and Scarlett loved running around!!
- Went to see Dr. Johnson who delivered Willow and everything seems ok... they are going to check my hernia which was above my belly button the whole time during my pregnancy. If worse comes to worse, I could have to have it removed but they think everything will go back into place.
- Ryan is pumped about the Ohio State game, game day, college roundup and all the other big ten shows.
- we are hoping for sunny days here this weekend!!

The Stork

We woke up the morning after we got home and stork was parked in our front yard!! Kristen and Joe Rossheim put it in the front yard. They have a little business doing this and its super cute!!

In other news:

- things are going pretty good getting adjusted with two...i don't want to jinx myself
- can't wait for nana and papaw to get here to give Scarlett even more attention
- i have been working hard not to leave Scarlett out of too much
- so much that she decided today she needs to wear a "tank-top" so that she can breastfeed, she has pads on and all
- when we left the baby dr. yesterday, we all went to the bathroom, they had cups behind the toilet and she said it was her turn to pee in a cup..yep, i have officially taken her to the ob toooo many times.. and i thought she didn't see me...grrrr
- i am going to feed willow today around 5 and then slip off with Scarlett to the library for an hour to meet the one and only Carina...her bestest friend... ryan is going to watch Willow as i am still a little scared about taking her if i don't need to
- Ryan is drafting his fantasy football team tonight
- we are having stir-fry tonight
- i need to write some thank yous
- i love my life, my husband and my girls

Doctor Doctor

Tuesday we had a busy day!! We went to two doctors and dance class.ahhhh...exhausting

This is Ms. Michelle our nurse who we just love and adore...Scarlett is helping weight little Willow who now weights just 8 pounds... she was 7.9

 

This is Dr. Sahai who we just love and adore too and Scarlett helping him too!!

 

When we got home, we tried out the swing for little Willow. She loved it except Scarlett thought that she really needs some little balls to play with while she is swinging!!

 

other notes:

- our doctor is in ormond which is about 30 minutes away, i really need to get one in this town now with two kids. But Sahai is just awesome, i am so torn!!
- Scarlett is doing well adjusting, daddy took her out last night to go to Target and Lowes and she was on cloud nine, it gave mommy some peace and resting time
- our friends and neighbors are just wonderful with meals, cards and gifts for us.. we are so blessed
- we are missing our family up north, but nana and papaw are coming this weekend, Scarlett marks her calendar everyday...she can't wait!!

Dance Class

Yep call us crazy we have Scarlett in dance and gymnastics... the reasoning: she needs to go to a setting where she has to listen to others and what they tell her to do...i don't know, but it sounds good.

Everyday we work on our ABC basket, which i usually have themed around something but this month has fallen short. She is doing good and we are now working on words and working on all of our families individual names.

Anyways, on tuesdays we go to dance and i am thinking she doesn't like it as much as gymnastics so we will see what happens for next month.

 

If they are good listeners they get a sucker... SHE FINALLY LIKES SUCKERS... i even licked it to see the kind because she doesn't like candy. Scarlett actually listens really well to the instructor. But here is the thing, if i heard them call "Scarlett" come here more then 3x, i would go and get my kid and make her sit with me, i don't think that would be out of line...oh well, parenting... i think from here on out, i am dropping her off and going to sit in my car and drink starbucks during the session...i am not good with the whole no discipline thing when a parent reminds them 5x not to do it...mmm, like they care... ok, anyways, i have no room to talk ... back to the point, my kid got a sucker along with the others (and the 2 other girls who were crazy) so i am hoping that my child doesn't think she can act crazy and still get a sucker...because mama will pull her out so fast!
