Grass Camera

This might be the most random post I have ever posted.

Random.

In our subdivision, right when you pull in, this is the yard.

yep, yuck!!

 

I know, it doesn't look so great, so while I mowed it, Scarlett took pictures.

I might add that I don't even mow my own yard.

I found this one on the camera and it was too cute. It was her taking a picture of the mirror. (it was one of about 30) but it kept her in the car while I mowed.

 

And speaking of finding random pictures take a look at these below.

 

She loves her princesses and well, I was wondering where my running watch was since I haven't worn it for a while...yep, I am not doing so good with my diet. I lost 4-5 lbs and then put a few back on.

Back to the drawing board, yes, back to my diet
and back to Scarlett taking more pictures.

 

Night out

Can I tell you that my husband is so good about letting me get out for a few hours without kids. I love to go to Starbucks, take my bible studies and do nothing. That might be on the top of the list. But others that make the top five is hanging out with precious girlfriends.

I went to a dinner party thing with Rachael, because she is running for our local school board. Jill was speaking at it, so it worked out great. Jill is teacher of the year for our county so I felt like I was multi-tasking (and not in a busy way either)

It was nice to eat a meal and actually finish it. (sitting with the black coat is Rachael)

 

The dinner wasn't even that great but it didn't really matter. As I knew I was going to a pampered chef party later in the evening. It was at my neighbors house and she just started selling.

 

Thanks to my husband for always being so kind to me and our children. He travels often and I always feel bad if he is home for a night throwing that kids at him (literally). But he takes it in great stride. Thanks Babe!

I am still alive

One of the worst nights I have had in a really, really, really long time. I thought the pain would never stop and I wasn't even sick.

It was this little one. She was one sick puppy.


Notice the bowl to the right, and the cup of water...these were key items this weekend.

 

She was really, really, really sick. It all started on Saturday night into Sunday morning. She threw up for at least 7 hours and I was starting to get worried that I might have to take her into the ER because she wasn't drinking much and was dry heaving.

I called Ryan and told him and he said he would try to get a flight home earlier. He cancelled a few of his plans for the week to help me. Although, let me add that he got sick the following day and was in bed all day as well. NOT CONVENIENT for a sleep deprived mommy.

On Sunday after relaxing and not doing ANYTHING, she was up and moving and doing what she loves best.... dress up. (notice the ear rings, this is the latest of her dress up times, although mommy doesn't even have her ears pierced, its funny how she knew what to do with them.)

 

By Monday morning she was great and back to learning time.

 

(she was working on the egg carton which has uppercase letters on the bottom of it and she has to match up the caps with the lowercase letter)

Things were even better by Monday afternoon when she was eating, throwing food and laughing.

 

Great days, great fun, long nights, but I am still alive and loving life.

Happy Birthday

On Saturday it was a busy day. We went and ran the 5k in the morning at our local town center. Jess, my girlfriend helped me and we ran with the double stroller. We managed to do all of this under 50 minutes.

Right after that, we went to dance class.

Then, off to a birthday party.

It was Cameron's 4th and his little sister Marlee's first birthday.

I think Scarlett was playing and in the bounce house the whole time. I didn't think to take pictures of her...ha.

After the party we actually went to Saturday night service at church... Whew, we were exhausted. It was a very long and exciting day.

Friday Fun

On Friday, I had my little preschool class over to the house. Afterwards, Conner and Jase stayed. Conner's mommy was at work and I called Kristi and told her I would watch Jase. Jase's daddy serves our country over seas. She is a wonderful woman and we met each other at church from playdates, sunday school and small group on Sunday nights. I am so thankful for people like Jason. When I work with Jase it brings tears to my eyes sometimes knowing that his daddy isn't there all the time and that he gives up so much to serves sooo many.

They also tortured the sand/water table but had sooo much fun.

Fun Fun

Heather and I have been meaning to get together. For a few reasons; for the girls to play, for us to chat and get to know each other better.

I only took one picture of the girls. Aubrey is 4 and will go to VPK next year. She is a sweetheart and is in my Sunday School class. Check out their family's blog.


Willow and Scarlett play all day. Usually it consist of Scarlett telling and moving Willow places.

 

This was Willow enjoying every moment of it.

 

The Girls

Scarlett is turning into our little diva. She loves to put make-up on every morning. She can't wait to go to the castle at Disney soon.

 

Scarlett during learning time. I have been wanting to update our educational blog but things always seem to come up.

Scarlett is working on a kite for the letter K.

 

Willow was all about learning time with Scarlett. As long as you are close enough that Willow THINKS you are talking to her you are GOOD> When Scarlett and I are talking, Willow thinks she is right in on it too. She just laughs away.

 

Get ready for the mean face.
Willow is into the whole let me get up on my knees and swing back and forth.
She hasn't quite figured out the crawling thing yet, but is trying.
Every time I sit her up, she flips over on all fours. After awhile she gets mad because she can't move or she will nose dive. Its too funny.


This picture is BEFORE the NOSE dive, one of these days she will figure out if she moves her arm forward she will crawl...

 

Mr. Phil

Smuckers Stars On Ice

Ryan surprised us with a few front row seats on ice. Smuckers has done this every year and this year we finally decided to go.

We were able to watch some skaters from the Olympics and the team that performs.

Here is Sasha Cohen.

 

Of course I had to get a picture by the Smucker Signs. They were on the four ends of the ice.

 

We went to Macaroni Grill before we went to the Arena in Orlando.

We had so much fun and we were right on the edge of the ice and it was a great experience. The girls loved it!!

Bowling

Surprise!!

I just had to.
I invited friends out to the bowling ally.

We had a girl from church babysit around 9:30 p.m. and Ryan thought we were just meeting

I ordered a cake, and dropped it off during the day.
Scarlett was distraught. She kept asking why we were leaving the cake.
I thought for sure I had ruined it.
When we went home, Ryan was golfing.

We had a really good time. I hope my husband did as well.
He is going golfing this week and meeting up with some of his friends. I hope he enjoys it. He always looks forward to spending time with the guys, and of course golfing. It's something he has always enjoyed before we were married, before we had kids and now, while we have kids. I love to see him doing things he enjoys.

Hello Weekend!!

Scarlett reviewing the resurrection eggs. She is doing so good, she knows what each egg stands for or at least can describe it. I think her favorite egg is the "crown of thorns" that Jesus wore. She puts it on her head and tells us about it. Train em up Train em up!!!

 

After our small group preschool, Conner stayed at our house because his mommy had an appointment. Scarlett and Conner are really good friends, and Conner tends to protect Scarlett, especially at church.

We received a package that day and this was the wrapping in it, so I laid it on the ground and let them run on it. It was so fun, I actually had to take part in it.

 

Do I post enough pictures of our little Willow?
Ok, maybe not so little, but she is a champ.
She is eating fruit for breakfast and a veggie for dinner. We added puffs and yogurt melts too. She loves putting EVERYTHING in her mouth.
She is teething. At least that's what I tell people everyday when they look at my crazy.
She gets on all fours and then nose dives...its classic.
She ends up all over the carpet but not sure how.
She loves the swing on the pool deck.
She is breastfeeding like a champ, although mommy is ready to throw in the towel for selfish reasons.(lose weight)
(commercial break: i have 8 lbs to go before June) and now i only have 7 more....YAHHH)
She is adored by Scarlett.
Willow has a stronger personality then Scarlett...ahhhh, pretty sure that comes from daddy.
