Overnight

Thanks Darren and Candy for the night out for the Hospital Gala 2012.  We had so much fun!  You can check out their family blog HERE.
Thanks for letting us bunk up at your house too!  The kids obviously don't have any idea what is about to hit them.

Blessed world

On Saturday evening, late after church we met up for a late dinner date with our Pastor, his wife and friends.  Pete (in the green) went to Cambodia with our Parkview Team.  Pete and his lovely wife, Rochelle were in town so we were able to see them for a little bit before we all left town.  The influence that these two couples have had on us, especially our Pastor and his wife is really quite amazing.
You see our lives have changed forever.  We know that we don't just want to know about Jesus.  We want to have a relationship with Him as well.  We are so blessed to have this constant reminder around us by our church family.
Not only do we want to have a relationship with Him, but with His people too.
We want to reach out.  We want to involve the community.  We want to spread the Good News.
So much so that our youth pastor, Barry (who was our pastors brother) went to start another church in Nashville.  (we were able to visit with them over the summer.)  You can check out his family blog HERE.
Spending time with sisters in faith is undescribable.  It's safe, its protective, its memorable, its Godly.
Last but not least, it instills a footprint on our children.  This is our pastors son, Seth who of course loves the camera and making faces.  We are so thankful for such a Godly, faith filled church that we were apart of while we were in Florida.

Disney

Of course we had to go to Disney before heading north.
And Scarlett felt the need to strap Mickey into the stroller.

Daddy and his girls

Getting ready for the fun mid-day parade.  Take note of Willow "not hiding" behind me.
This is pretty much what she did during the parade.  It was hysterical.  I am not sure why my wild child was not out dancing too but she was scared of those people on those tall sticks, or so she said.
The action
and yes, Willow still hiding but trying to peek out so she doesn't miss anything.
After the parade is over, they throw confetti
And we pick up every last piece of confetti, I am pretty sure its their favorite part of Disney.
A few friends were also going to Disney the same weekend.  It was Ayden's birthday but it wasn't like we followed the Peterson's around.  We all did our own thing.
Loving the train ride.

We were trying to get a picture with birthday boy but he was not having it with all the girls and the baby so I really don't have any of him.
The girls getting ready for the afternoon parade.  Too precious, too little....wishing they would stay this way.
When we were going to another ride, we ran into one of Scarlett's friends from school.  I am not sure what the chances are for running into someone you know at Disney but we can say it happened.
Disney is so fun, exhausting and quite the experience.  My girls love the parades, the characters and of course strapping in the characters like they are dolls.  I am not even sure they know that Magic Kingdom has TONS of rides.  It's still magical no matter what you do at the park.

Goodbyes

Goodbyes are never really easy.  Scarlett's teacher has been out due to maternity leave and Katherine's mom (Dusty) was teaching Scarlett's preschool class.  Dusty has her teaching degree and will probably continue to teach at the Christian Private School where Scarlett attended.  Katherine was one of Scarlett's little friends and they loved playing together.
On Wednesdays during bible study, Ms. Fran/Ms. Norma watch Willow and love all over her.  She is going to miss seeing them weekly.
My wonderful teacher, counselor and bible scholar Ms. Linda.  She has made such an impact on my life and I have been studying with her for about 4 years.  I started precepts studies with her and have learned so much truth about the bible.  I am so thankful that God has put such an amazing person in my life.
After study, we were off to the local airport, Highjackers for lunch.
Scarlett and Adam Jr.  A few of us girls met up for lunch but when we were ready to leave these two silly kids climbed up to their own table and just sat their and giggled.  I love the simplicity of this picture.  Giggle away children!

The big reveal

I adore this man.  I love this man.  He puts up with me and all the things I get myself in to.
Yes, I asked if he would cooperate with me and not find out the sex of the baby at our 20 week check-up.  We had the tech put the sex of the baby in an envelope and then delivered it to Jamie, who made the cake.  The inside of the cake was either going to be blue or pink. And no we didn't know what color was inside until well....we cut the cake!   Everyone who came either had to wear pink or blue.  We invited a few close friends and we were off to cut some cake at Ryan's favorite beach eatery.
A friend even brought a board for everyone to write their names down on teams.
Team PINK
Team BLUE
The anticipation was building.
We were so stunned, we thought for sure we were having another girl.
It was such a wonderful surprise.
It was so fun.
Especially watching the fist pump!
The ultrasound picture showed clearly that it was a boy.
I am so glad we got a snap shot of everyone just after the news, too cute!
Mindy and I....
Jamie, who so graciously made the cake!
Fred and Ryan....(I went to Cambodia with Beth and these guys love to golf)
A few of us at the end of the night!  Thanks for sharing our exciting night with us.  We had so much fun and what a wonderful memory with our friends down south! Also,  Thanks to who ever grabbed my camera, as Ryan and I tend to not be in pictures together because I am usually taking them.
